New York, NY – The New York Giants have officially released quarterback Daniel Jones. The decision comes after a disappointing season for the former first-round pick, marked by inconsistent performances and a lack of significant improvement.

Jones has struggled throughout the season with 2,070 passing yards, seven interceptions and just eight touchdowns.
He had openly speculated over his future, telling reporters on Thursday: “This season has been disappointing for all and of course I wish I could have done more.”
